Bob passed away on July 2, 2016, at his residence in Gresham, Ore. Bob was the youngest of three born to Eli and Orpha Freeman in Colfax, Wash.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dale and his sister, Joyce Hall.
He went to school in Colfax, Wash., until his family moved to Harrison, Idaho, where he graduated from high school. He joined the Army in 1954 and was proud to be an Army Paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division. He lived throughout the Northwest over the years. He really enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was a great card player, sports trivia buff with a great sense of humor and quick wit. He was married to his loving wife, Marilyn, for 43 years.
He’s survived by their combined family (in age order), Vicki Arnold (Barry), Steve Hastings (Tracy), Dan Freeman (Kelly), Janielle Hedt (Dave), Dana Hess and Carla Fischer (Ed); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and his sister-in-law, Joanne Freeman.
