Three people were killed in an early Saturday morning rollover accident when a car caught fire.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry said that one person was ejected from the vehicle. The car caught fire and burned, Curry said. The two other occupants died.

“It burned pretty thoroughly,” Curry said.

The accident occurred on the Kalispell U.S. 93 Bypass near its intersection with Airport Road. It was reported at 2:38 a.m., according to dispatch logs.

“We haven’t released the names of any of the people killed,” Curry said.
