EQUESTRIAN: The Event begins Thursday at Rebecca Farm

The Event at Rebecca Farm returns for the 15th year when festivities kick off this morning in the West Valley.
The annual four-day equestrian showcase will start with dressage for most of the day, highlighted by the CCI1* competitors from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Arena 1, followed by the Halt Cancer Challenge beginning at 5:30.
The senior and junior open novice classes and Novice and Training level Three-Day competitors will also be competing in dressage.
Novice cross country will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. today.
The top competitors begin their three-day triathlons on Friday, with the CCI2*, CIC3* and CCI3* competitions opening with dressage from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Arena 1. The top divisions will run cross country on Saturday and show jumping on Sunday with awards following each division the final two days.
The Art & Trade Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the first three days of competition and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. A kids zone will be available offering pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts and bounce houses.
The Rebecca Farm to Market 5K will run at 9 a.m. on Sunday, with early registration closing on Friday for $20 per person or $15 for kids 12-and-under. Registration will be $5 more on the day of the race. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in men, women and junior (under 12) divisions.
