Lawrence Derk 'Larry' Liechti, 54

Lawrence Derk Liechti “Larry,” 54, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016, at the North Idaho Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Dec. 12, 1961, to Rodney and Joyce (Discher) Liechti.

Larry was a lover of motorcycles, riding and working on them. He enjoyed riding on Canfield Mountain just outside his backyard and could be found there whenever he had the chance. He was also proficient in the art of billiards and would challenge even the best at a game and would win more than often. He loved video games, watching any sports and going to the motocross races at the fairgrounds.

Larry was a kind and gentle person who was there to give a helping hand when needed. He was a lover of dogs. Larry was well-known in the community and made many friends who will miss him.

He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Joyce; brother Greg; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends.
