Firefighters and those who would like to take pledges will raise donations before the friendly competition, then don as much as 75 pounds of firefighting gear before walking at least one mile around the track. Anybody can participate — not just firefighters, emergency responders or law enforcement.
Airstreams
The public is invited to tour vintage and new Airstreams from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell.
More than 75 Airstream trailers belonging to members of Region 10 of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International have been at the fairgrounds since July 27 for their Kickin’ Back Rally.
Founded in 1955, the club continues in the spirit of Wally Byam, inventor of the Airstream, who introduced glamor to trailer touring.
