MOSES LAKE — Distinguished Young Woman Elisabeth Barlow will join 14 other Washington girls in Pullman to participate in the Washington state DYW competition. Barlow, the daughter of Esther and Brian Barlow, outshone six other girls to win the Moses Lake pageant on April 23.

The program will take place Aug. 6 in the Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum. The contestants will arrive on Aug. 2 to begin preparations for their stage routines, according to a previous Columbia Basin Herald article. Participants will meet individually with the judges before the evening session, at which they will each perform a talent number and participate in fitness and self-expression routines.
