Doral and Connie McGee

50th Anniversary

Doral Lynn and Connie Lee (Nelson) McGee, of Coeur d’Alene, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 31, 2016.

Doral is retired from the United States Air Force as an officer. Connie is a retired educator from Lakeland School District.

Their children are: Trina (McGee) Caudle of Coeur d’Alene, Derek McGee of Coeur d’Alene and Elena Nelson of Spirit Lake. They have nine grandchildren.

Connie and Doral renewed their wedding vows and a celebration was held Sunday, June 24, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coeur d’Alene.

Mark and Tina Gates

25th Anniversary

Mark and Tina Gates celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on July 27, 2016. They met in 1985 at a print shop in Issaquah, Wash.

They were married in North Bend, Wash., and moved to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1994. Blessed with family, friends, work, animals and each other!

Dale and Jean Ward Allred

60th Anniversary

Dale and Jean Ward Allred, of Hayden, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6, 2016, at a local restaurant. Their children are hosting the celebration. They were married on Aug. 4, 1956, in Boise.

Dale is retired from a 30-year career with Boise-Cascade Corp. Jean is retired from a 15-year career with NCR Corp.

Their children are: Mark Allred of Coeur d’Alene, Jill Schrader (Jim) of Hayden and the late Todd Allred (Mimi) of Rathdrum. They have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

BIRTH

Sophia Michelle Mellick was born July 22, 2016, at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene Michelle and David Mellick in Hayden. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces. Siblings are Alisa, Thomas and Elizabeth. Maternal grandparents are Karen and Wally Kaelke of Klamath Falls, Ore. Paternal grandparents are Dan and Linda Mellick of Hayden, and Gary Leming of Idaho Falls.
