The second 2nd Harvest food distribution for this year will be held Wednesday June 15 from 11-1pm in

the Trinity Lutheran Church parking lot.

220 families received food at the May event. 10,000 lbs. of food were shared. 2nd Harvest works with

farmers, food producers and distributers, the Idaho and Washington Beef Producers and merchants to

provide food for families in the Inland Empire. There are no appointments or documentation needed.

The four events are sponsored by Thrivent Financial and 2nd Harvest. This year two churches, two

families and the Bonners Ferry Rotary have stepped up to help with the added costs of the distribution.

With these generous donations all four of the distributions have been paid for.

The last two events will be August 11 and September 16.
