Modern Theater Coeur d’Alene’s production of “Anything Goes” sets sail tonight in Coeur d’Alene.

The show runs through June 26 with performances on Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

A Broadway blockbuster that first debuted in 1934, “Anything Goes” is described as a “fun full-speed-ahead giant with madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London.”

It tells the story of Billy Crocker, a stowaway in love with an heiress who is already engaged to someone else. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy No. 13 Moonface Martin aid Billy in his quest to win his true love. The musical introduced such songs as “Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top” and “I Get a Kick Out of You.”

Performances will take place at the Modern Theater Coeur d’Alene, 1320 E. Garden Ave.

Ticket prices are $24-$27 and can be purchased by visiting www.themoderntheater.org or through the Modern Theater Box Office.
