Esquivel scores as Shadow sweep Force

SPOKANE — Former Post Falls High standout Roberto Esquivel capped the scoring for the Spokane Shadow in a 5-2 win over the Olympic Force in Northwest Premier League play at Joe Albi Stadium.

With Spokane leading 4-2, Esquiel scored an unassisted goal in the 87th minute for Spokane (4-1-1), which remained in second place heading into today’s match with Wenatchee today at 4 p.m. at Spokane Falls Community College.

SPOKANE — Megan Lindsay assisted on four goals and scored one of her own in the 45th minute for the Spokane Shadow in a 5-1 win over the Olympic Force in Evergreen Premier League play at Joe Albi Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Sarah Cox had two goals for Spokane (5-1-0), which hosts the Seattle Stars next Saturday at Spokane Falls Community College.
