Resort pass holder party set for June 17

Whitefish Mountain Resort wants to thank its 2015/16 winter season pass holders with an Appreciation Party on Friday, June 17.

For the second summer in a row, the resort invites its pass holders to celebrate the beginning of summer with free alpine slide rides, aerial adventure park and Spider Monkey Mountain admittance, as well as, zip line tours. Discounted food and beer specials and live music with John Dunnigan at the Base Lodge will round out the day which runs from noon to 6 p.m.

“Our pass holders demonstrate their loyalty every year and this past season was no exception as they took advantage of excellent snow conditions and set a new record for vertical feet skied,” said Whitefish Mountain Resort President Dan Graves in a prepared release. “There is no doubt that we have a dedicated community of skiers and riders. Because we want our pass holders to know how much we value their patronage, we invite all pass holders from last season to enjoy our most popular summer activities on us.”

Free passes for the alpine slide, Spider Monkey Mountain and aerial adventure park are required and will be available at the guest and information center on the second floor of the Base Lodge. Pass holders must bring their 2015/16 Winter Season Pass to receive admission to the free activities and receive discounts for food and beverages. Reservations are required for zip line tours at 406-862-2900.

Non-pass holders are welcome and will be able to participate in the activities at a discounted rate. Chair 6 will be running and free for everyone, Chair 1 will not be open.

Whitefish Mountain Resort opens for summer Saturday, June 18 and will be open daily through Labor Day, and Friday through Sunday in September. All 2015/16 winter season pass holders receive free rides on the scenic lift all season long.

They also receive discounts during the summer season on the zip line tours, Walk in the Treetops tour, alpine slide, mountain bike rentals, the aerial adventure park, and bike trail access.

Pass holders must present their 2015/16 Season Pass to receive discounts as discounts are intended for use by the 2015/16 pass holder only.
