A Troy woman admitted Thursday to committing her sixth offense of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Debbie Anne Hahn, 49, told a judge that she has wanted to plead guilty since the first day she came into jail.
“I did it and I’m not going to sit here and lie about it,” Hahn told Flathead District Judge Amy Eddy.
On April 30, a Montana Highway Patrol trooper in Evergreen encountered Hahn after her car broke down near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 35.
The trooper noticed that Hahn avoided eye contact.
He allegedly could smell alcohol wafting from the vehicle.
A blood sample determined that Hahn’s blood alcohol concentration was beyond the legal limit.
Hahn will be sentenced July 28. At the time of her most recent arrest she was on felony probation for another felony DUI in 2013. Her sentence in that case was revoked.
Hahn has five prior DUI convictions from 1997 to 2013.
