Samantha Ray outside her home on Thursday morning, June 9, in Whitefish. In January, Ray was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. In February she was in hospice and given two weeks to live. She has been taking part in an experimental treatment in Arizona and is on her way to remission.
