The Columbia Falls RV Park continues to grow a bit each year. Owners Larry and Karla Fowler added six more sites to the 76-site park this year. They also added new sidewalks and landscaping as well.

Larry said he plans on adding four or five new cabins at the north end of the park this year as well.

Business has been robust the past few years. They’ve hit their target every year and last year was up 15 percent over the year before, even with smoke from wildfires.

He said people come from every state one can think of, but lately there’s been more California campers than usual. They camp here while looking for property to buy, he said.

The park is pretty much full June through August, with its convenient location not only to Glacier National Park, but other valley amenities. The park has Wi-Fi, cable TV and full hookups.

The Fowlers have owned the park for the past seven years. Campers can book a site online at: http://www.columbiafallsrvpark.com
