Inland Northwest Blood Center is urging anyone who is eligible to give blood as the nation faces a serious shortage.

Due to the zika virus, decreased donations and low-performing drives affecting the blood supply, blood centers are struggling to get their blood supply up to safe levels.

As an incentive, INBC is offering the following promotions:

• Free 2016 Summer T-shirt to donors while supplies last.

• June donors will be entered to win a camping package.

• Donors between June 8-12 receive 400 bonus points, which paired with 200 points received from booking and keeping an appointment can be enough to redeem a movie ticket (bit.ly/inbcrewards).

On average, one in seven people entering the hospital needs blood. INBC asks if you are healthy and eligible, please make an appointment today by calling (800) 423-0151 extension 1 or visiting inbcsaves.org.
