Regarding Bill Cox’s letter in the Inter Lake about Islamic/Syrian refugees moving into Montana and the citizenry who oppose it, Cox says the letters opposing this “migration” were orchestrated by a campaign of propaganda to demonize Muslims. Are you saying Mr. Cox that the hundreds of citizens who showed up at the Flathead County commissioners’ office are all Islamophobic? Is that the same as saying all those who disagree with President Obama are all racists?
You say the founder of Act for America, Brigitte Gabriel, is espousing hatreds of Muslims that go back to the Crusades of the 11th century and then you totally “minimize” what is driving this woman to warn America about radical Islam. First of all, fundamentalist Islam is an ideology masquerading as a religion, rooted in seventh-century teachings that are fundamentally opposed to democracy and equality.
Radical Islamists are extremely contemptuous of all “infidels” (non-Muslims) and regard them as enemies worthy of death! They exploit our U.S. legal system to try and subvert America’s Christian and Jewish faiths, and advance their own. Brigitte knows from a first-hand account: When she was a child and Islamic militants in Lebanon launched an assault on a Lebanese military base, her nearby home was destroyed. Brigitte was injured by shrapnel in that attack. She and her parents were forced to live underground (in an 8-by-10-foot bomb shelter) for 10 years. They had no electricity, no running water, no sanitary systems, and very little food. To get some spring water she had to crawl in a roadside ditch to evade Muslim snipers. Her life was saved when the Israel army invaded Lebanon and her seriously injured mother was taken to an Israeli hospital.
Her saga and the great humanity shown by the Israelis is part of the impetus in her fight to warn the Western world that the U.S. “is the primary target for Islamic radicalism to spread its worldwide dominance.” Gabriel started Act for America, and she speaks wherever she can to any group or citizenry that values freedom.
Is it being gullible, Mr. Cox, because we do not trust our government to seriously vet and keep track of refugees all being seeded throughout the Unites States? Just last fall, Mr. Cox, Muslims in Irving, Texas, were furious that a Texas mayor stopped their “sharia court.” The co-founder of CAIR, Omar Ahmad, (Council on American-Islamic Relations) in 1998 reportedly stated, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Quran should be the highest authority in America.”
Our borders are completely open and unprotected, ushering in millions of illegals that soon join in the benefits that hard-working citizens’ taxes have paid for. We issue visas to many people from all over the world and then do not track them. Forty-five percent of them overstay their visas without any oversight or reprimands. We can trust the government to vet Muslim refugees and keep track of them?
We need to keep Muslim/Islamic loyal refugees over in their own part of the world. We can send “charitable” aid for their sustenance. It’s not “Muslim-bashing,” Mr. Cox; it’s about keeping tax-paying American citizens and their children safe.

Zinke not safe Republican vote
Max Baucus for way too many years sold Montana out when he authored and voted for Obamacare! Don’t vote Democrat.
