D-DAY: No coverage (again)

I would like to say good job Coeur d’Alene Press on having the veteran’s stories in the paper for Veterans Day and Memorial Day. But then along comes June 6 known as D-Day. Nothing in the paper again about this battle that turned the tide of World War II. I do want to thank the Peanuts cartoon strip for Snoopy gave appreciation to the veterans of World War II. So I guess there was a tribute to June 6 D-Day in the Coeur d’Alene Press. Way to go Snoopy. This was the most important battle, in my opinion, of World War II. If not for this battle and all of the brave men and women that were involved in this landing at Normandy things would have been a lot different. I personally want to say thank you to all World War II veterans and all the rest of our military veterans for their service. God Bless you all.
