Former Badger graduates from West Point

Reid James Boorman graduated from United States Military Academy at West Point on May 21, 2016 and commissioned as an officer into the United States Army.

He earned a B.S. in German. He received awards for top 20 percent of his graduating class and awards from the USMA language department. Reid attended the military academy in Austria as an exchange student in fall semester of 2015.

2nd Lt. Boorman will be stationed at Ft. Rucker, Alabama where he will train to be a helicopter pilot.

Reid is the son of Stephen and Cyndy Boorman and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 2011.
