The Forest Service is hosting a field trip to the Redd Bull project area on Tuesday, June 28. The project area is located south and west of St. Regis in the Dry, Little Joe, Twomile and Ward Creek areas. The purpose of the trip is to share information and discuss management options for this popular recreational area.

Currently, some of the roads in the area are being considered for closure by the Forest Service. The entire Redd Bull area covers more than 85,000 acres and contains over 1.7 million board feet of standing timber.

Whether people are interested in recreation, timber harvest, or other interests in the area, this field trip is the opportunity to let Forest Service personnel know. The field trip will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will start at the St. Regis Community Center. If you are interested in attending, contact the Superior Ranger District at (406) 822-4233. Or email your comments and concerns to: comments-northern-lolo-superior@fs.fed.us.
