Chris Carlson’s article, “The time is here for gun law changes,” is typical of a Democrat’s mind-set. They will tell you its unfair to blame Muslims for Jihadist terrorist’s attacks, but blame the NRA, guns and gun owners for shootings. Democrats are always working toward totally disarming the public. Examples during my lifetime have been the Democrat Party efforts to ban handguns as “Saturday Night Specials,” Hunting rifles as “High Powered Sniper Rifles,” and now semi-auto rifles as “Assault Weapons and Weapons of War.” Democrats generally believe the government has the right to dictate your life from cradle to grave.

As a former Law Enforcement Officer and Security Specialist, I’m sure when all the details are available a number of mistakes were made in the Florida shooting. Without question, the exits should never have been blocked as they were according to news reports. Had there been a fire at the main entrance, the entire population in the building would have been killed. I doubt, if a fire had happened instead of a shooting, Democrats would be calling for a ban on matches.

Saul Alinski, socialist’s community organizer, wrote Rules for Radicals 1971 in listed 8 levels of control. Democrats follow Alinski’s book like the Bible. Democrats take advantage of every opportunity to ignore the facts and turn the blame on guns in this case and many others. Of all the shootings involving Muslims, you will never hear the Democrat Party place the blame on a Muslim Jihadist. Does it make sense to punish millions of legal and responsible gun owners for the crimes perpetrated by the mentally insane and Muslim terrorists?

Why not focus on laws that allow the mentally disturbed and any known terrorists be placed on the “No Fly List” and “Federal Background Gun Check.” When Congress developed these lists, several problems were not covered including the mentally ill, known or suspected terrorists or sympathizers and no provisions were established to challenge the illegal inclusion of innocent people placed on those lists by error. All that will be accomplished by banning anything is the creation of a black market, increased prison population, and violence.
