Moses Lake – On May 7, the Moses Lake Alumni Association awarded scholarships of $1,200 each to 15 local students at its 10th Annual Celebration. The recipients included graduating seniors from Moses Lake High School, one Big Bend Community College student and one Moses Lake Christian Academy graduate, according to a press release from the association.

The 80 members and guests attended the Mexican fiesta themed luncheon at the Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center, catered by the Culinary Arts students of CB Tech. Superintendent Michelle Price led a tour of the facility.

Since its founding in 2006 the Alumni Association has awarded $127,900 in scholarships to 125 students of the Moses Lake School District, according to the release.
