COEUR d’ALENE — The 10th year of the Riverstone Summer Concert Series organized by the Coeur d’Alene Arts and Culture Alliance will start on Thursday with the big band jazz group Jazz Northwest performing.

Ali Shute, executive director of the arts and culture alliance, said the series supports the group’s mission to promote art in the community.
“The Riverstone Concert Series is one of our programs highlighting musicians, local and regional, and exposing us to the great talent we have in this area while creating an atmosphere of community in an engaging, lively and festive environment, which is good for all generations,” Shute said. “It is amazing to be outside experiencing great music in a beautiful setting.”
