Whitefish's Caleb Stolte wins Glacier Challenge

WHITEFISH — Whitefish’s Caleb Stolte used his cycling prowess to overtake Lakeside’s Zach Perrin to win the grueling Glacier Challenge on Saturday.

Stolte made up more than 23 minutes on wheels to reel in Perrin, a NCAA Division I distance runner, winning the race in 4 hours, 19 minutes, 33.3 seconds.

Pocatello’s Paul Hansmann and Aliesa Parent won the triathlon. Jessica Johnson and Luis Montano won the 5K and Gillian Maness and Tanner Boone won the eight-mile run.
