WARMING: Fact and fiction

In a letter to the editor June 8, letter writer A. Thykeson seems to suggest that, in my letter of June 3, I was challenging the validity of climate change. This is somewhat confusing because twice in my letter I acknowledged that climate change was real.

I, however, also asserted that global warming was not man-caused. This is also a fact. (Ice age, warming, cooling, another ice age.)

I tried to make the point that some environmentalists would falsely have us believe that global warming is man-caused and that most, if not all, scientists are in agreement with this. Scientists are in agreement that global warming is a fact. But they don’t agree that it is man-caused.
