EAGLE — Derek Bayley, who will be a junior at Washington State this fall, shot a 6-under 65 on Sunday to win the Idaho Amateur at BanBury Golf Course.

Bayley, the former Lakeland High standout, shot 72-68-65—205, 8 under par, for a three-shot victory over Graysen Huff, former Eagle High star who is a sophomore at Auburn.

Bayley started Sunday’s final round with three birdies in the first five holes to move to 5-under for the week. He birdied the ninth to turn in 4-under 31.

Bayley birdied 14, bogeyed 15, then birdied the final two holes.

Last weekend, Bayley tied for second at the 101st Southwestern Amateur in Arizona.

Huff also fired a 6-under 65. Huff completed his bogey-free round with six birdies, three on each side.

Ryan Porch (Idaho) finished 2-under and in third, Blair Bursey (Utah Valley) was fourth at 1-over while four golfers were 2-over and in a fifth-place tie.

Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake shot 75-76-69—220 and finished 20th.
