COEUR d’ALENE — Ted Cruz supporters confirmed the presidential hopeful will make a stop in Coeur d’Alene Saturday afternoon.

Norm Semanko, Cruz’s statewide coordinator, posted a message on his Facebook page confirming Cruz is going to be in town on Saturday.

“Official word from the Cruz Campaign: Ted Cruz will be in North Idaho next Saturday, March 5, Location and event times TBA, in Cd'A area from 2 to 5 p.m. Mark your calendars and make plans to see Ted Cruz in North Idaho next Saturday afternoon,” Semanko wrote.

The Cruz campaign had tentative plans to visit Coeur d’Alene on Monday March 7, but those plans changed when he moved his visit to Saturday instead.

Campaign organizers said an official press release will go out tonight.
