Eric Kemper solid at IE short course championship meet

MOSES LAKE — This past weekend Eric Kemper, 13, unattached USA registered swimmer, participated in the Inland Empire Short Course Championship meet held in Moses Lake.
Kemper had an amazing swim in the mile; he took first with an incredible time drop of 52.20 seconds for a best time of 18 minutes, 42.82 seconds. He placed second in two events; the 100 and 200 butterfly.
Kemper took fifth place in the 200 individual medley, and sixth place in the 200 freestyle. He placed eighth in the 400 individual medley.
In a of couple weeks, Kemper will travel to Federal Way to participate in the 2016 Northwest Region Short Course Age Group Championships where he will be competing against other athletes his age from Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Montana, Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming.
