Ronan firefighters were called into action late Feb. 23 after emergency dispatchers received a call that smoke was coming from a 3rd Street home.
The incident occurred moments before midnight.
When firefighters arrived on scene they learned that a person inside the home was using its kitchen oven for heat when something inside the oven caught fire.
The little blaze did not spread to other parts of the home and the damage was contained to the kitchen.
Charlo firefighters were dispatched to a controlled burn that grew out of control at about 3:20 p.m. Monday. Firefighters responded to the Ninepipes and Caffrey Road area and were able to help the landowner extinguish the fire.
A large plume of dark smoke rose from the Flathead River area in Polson at about noon Tuesday, prompting community members to call emergency dispatchers about the smoke. When emergency personnel arrived on scene they found a homeowner tending to a controlled burn.
