Open gate OK for workers on job

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a call about suspicious activity near a construction site where a gate was left open at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Police found construction workers, doing construction work, at the construction site.
A woman called dispatch after her son told her he had been arrested earlier that day and had made suicidal comments to her in a phone call.
A Whitefish resident asked to speak with a Whitefish Police officer about some harassing Facebook posts.
A woman called 911 after her boyfriend and his family locked her out of her home and she was unable to retrieve her belongings inside. The family told the officers they were beginning the eviction process.
A man told dispatch that his girlfriend was harboring another man with three warrants from Kootenai County, Idaho. The caller told police she was allowing him to drive her car and stay at the hotel where his girlfriend is a manager. The caller said he would try to get in touch with his girlfriend to help police arrest the man.
The Kalispell Police Department received a call about a man scaring employees and customers with a Taser while standing outside a Kalispell business. The man was gone when police had arrived.
Someone broke into a storage shed in west Kalispell but did not take anything.
A Kalispell store employee caught two females shoplifting but was able to retrieve the merchandise. The employee called police, not to pursue charges, but wanted their descriptions taken down.

A Kalispell resident reported a handful of youths “trying to do doughnuts and trying to climb snow mounds” in a Main Street parking lot.
Someone stole a man’s dirt bike from his home in east Kalispell.
A driver was seen verbally harassing people while he drove up and down Main Street in a white sedan. Officers were unable to locate the driver.
