Orlandi, a 5-foot-9 junior guard from Coeur d’Alene High, had a team-high 16 points and 12 assists for the Warriors (25-6) in a 79-93 win in the Frontier Conference tournament championship game on Tuesday in Lewiston against Great Falls. “She delivered and found the open player all night long,” Lewis-Clark State coach Brian Orr said. “That was key. She had a great night.” Orlandi was named to the first team all-conference team for Lewis-Clark State, which opens the NAIA tournament against Oklahoma City on Wednesday in Independence, Mo.

Tackett, a 6-1 sophomore forward/post from Coeur d’Alene High, had nine points and eight rebounds for the Warriors in Tuesday’s Frontier Conference tournament championship game against Great Falls in Lewiston. Tackett was named to the first team all-conference team following the game.

Erin Legel

Legel, a 5-5 senior point guard from Coeur d’Alene High, scored a game-high 27 points for the Argos in a loss to the Warriors in the championship game of the Frontier Conference tournament. Legel was named to the all-conference first team following the game. Great Falls opens at nationals against Central Methodist (Mo.) next Thursday.

Tyler Maryon

Maryon, a senior from Lake City High, finished fourth in the 100-yard butterfly in 51.13 seconds in the consolation finals of the event at the NAIA Championships on March in Columbus, Ga. He was also part of the school’s 800-yard freestyle relay team, which set a school record of 6:58.79, and will finish with school records in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly (1:52.25), 200 freestyle relay (1:26.54), 400 freestyle relay (3:11.31), 800 freestyle relay (7:02.32) and 200 medley relay (1:37.09).

Brooke Litalien

Litalien, a 5-7 junior guard from Post Falls High, was named an honorable mention to the all-Frontier Conference team for the Warriors, averaging 9.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game with 59 assists.

Jessica Norlander

Green River

basketball

Norlander, a 6-0 sophomore forward from Timberlake High, averaged 14.8 points and 10.96 rebounds per game for the Gators (8-19), earning first-team all-Northwest Athletic Conference Western Region honors and becoming the first player selected to the first team since 2005. Norlander had 13 double-doubles and finished with 507 rebounds. Norlander will continue her playing career at the University of Lethbridge.
