SANDPOINT — A Bonner County man who shot another man in the back during a alcohol-fueled altercation last summer was ordered Tuesday to serve up to 10 years in prison.
Michael Jesse Chisholm will have to serve at least two years before he can be considered for parole, according to the terms of 1st District Judge Barbara Buchanan.
The shooting occurred at the Bloom Lake Campground, where Chisholm served as host, on June 2015. The alleged victim, 49, was shot in the scapula and grazed in the arm, but survived.
