Boating education class schedule set

EPHRATA — The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has announced the remaining schedule for boating education classes for 2016.

The June 11 class will be held in Moses Lake at the Sheriff’s substation at 1274 Lowry St. That will go from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The rest of the classes will be held at the Public Works Building at 127 Enterprise St SE in Ephrata. They will go from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 7; July 6, 7; Oct. 8 and Dec. 3.

The Aug. 9 and 10 classes will be offered at the same location from 6 to 10 p.m.

Special date and location classes will be arranged for groups of 10 or more boaters. You may contact Deputy Dave Hilliard at whilliard@grantcountywa.gov or 754-011 ext. 2321.

These courses are free of charge. All materials and testing supplies are provided.

No pre-registration is required.
