The female prank caller allegedly asked the woman if her refrigerator was running, stated it wasn’t a joke and that she should unplug her fridge and evacuate, then hung up. The resident wanted police to log the information, just in case.

A resident on West Sixth Street called to report his 25-year-old son was being “disrespectful and argumentative,” and he wanted him removed from the property. The caller stated the younger man was packing his things and was calm, just being stubborn. The young man left the house without incident and without need for police assistance.

A woman called police from a Bay Point Drive residence to report a physical altercation. The woman said she had gone home with a man she’d met at a bar earlier that night, but once they arrived at his home he had struck her in the face. She said she went outside to get away from him, and he locked her out. She did not know exactly where she was and needed help. Officers arrived at the scene at the same time as the woman’s daughter. The woman left in her daughter’s care, and officers were unable to make contact with the alleged assailant.
