The Rotary Club of the Kootenai Valley has selected Jon Jeresek at this month’s Rotary Citizen of the Month.

Jeresek has been active in Ducks Unlimited for 31 years and is the chairman of the annual banquet. He also participates in the projects to enhance wildlife habitat.

He volunteers at Turner Mountain and the Cross Country Ski Club by grooming trails and maintaining the facilities, as well as donates time to David Thompson Search and Rescue and provides the participants with winter training.

He is active with the Montana Wilderness Association and leads hikes during the summer months.
