Born Feb. 15, 1931, passed March 4, 2016.

Marvin was born in a soddy house near Sulphur, S.D. to Phillip and Florence Harrington. He married Rose Marie Carlson on March 4, 1953 at Broadus, Mont. They had six children: Allen Harrington of Dewey, Ariz.; Laurie Pinsonzielinski of Las Vegas; Cheryl Wolf of Pablo; Arlen Harrington of Caddo Mills, Texas; Donna Whiting of Pablo; Scott Harrington of Derby, Ks.  He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Phillip and Florence Harrington, and two brothers Vern and Clyde Harrington. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, brother Don Harrington of Hill City, S.D., and sister Deloris Deines of Buffalo Gap, S.D.

Marvin moved from Hermosa, S.D. to Charlo in 1974. He worked for Western Nuclear in Jeffrey City, Wyo. for awhile, in the mine at Arizona for awhile, then back to Charlo where he worked for Colter. Rose and the kids stayed in Charlo. He loved to travel and mechanic-ing, and he loved his family. A memorial will be held Friday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at the Dave and Donna Whiting home.
