COEUR d’ALENE — Idaho State Police are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed a road rage incident that occurred Sunday afternoon.

According to ISP, the incident involved two vehicles: a red Chrysler minivan with a couple inside, and a green Infiniti I30 passenger car with a couple and two children on board.

ISP spokeswoman Teresa Baker said the incident started Sunday around 4 p.m. on U.S. Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene, and continued westbound on Interstate 90, where both drivers reported the incident to police.

Baker said the cars were in the Huetter Rest Area parking lot as well.

A firearm was reported to be involved in the incident and police need to talk with witnesses to try and corroborate what the drivers of the vehicles were saying.

“We are just trying to find people who were in the area at that time,” Baker said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Idaho State Police at (208) 209-8620 and speak to Trooper Richard Alderson.
