Local Boy Scouts gather to run local finals for this year’s Pinewood Derby

Three packs from Lake County Boy Scout troops gathered to run in their local finals for the 2016 Pinewood Derby at the Elks Club in Polson March 20. Excited parents and scouts raced their cars to see whose vehicle would be quickest down the track. Wolf Pack co-leader Susan Clark said the race was possible because of a large donation made by Ace Hardware in Polson. Winners of the regional event will proceed to the county-wide finals next month.
