District closes to male mountain lion hunting

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks closed Hunting District 102 to male mountain lion hunting a half hour after sunset Monday night.
District 102 includes a portion of Flathead County west of U.S. 93 and north of U.S. 2.
Winter season quotas for male mountain lions have now been met in eight of Region One’s 17 hunting districts that permit mountain lion hunting.
No closures on female mountain lion hunting are currently in effect.
