Wind Valley Bible Bowl team on roll again

SCHAWANA — The Wind Valley Scripture Scholars team has done very well in the 2016 season, placing first at all three levels so far. Next up is the Bible Bowl, which the team has won several times.
Two of the team members and coach Meg Bartrand are from Schawana. The rest of the team is from Cle Elum.
The team started its 2016 winning streak at the Columbia Basin Regional in Yakima in January. The Upper Columbia Conference level in Walla Walla was next in February. The third first place came at the North Pacific Union level in Chehalis in March.
Each time the team made a first place finish, it was allowed to advance to the next level. As a result of the first place at the Union level, it has qualified for the North American Division level on April 16.
That competition will be based in Phoenix, Ariz. Those participating in this Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE Bible Bowl) are studying the book of Exodus.
