Man given probation for Bigfork burglary spree
Bigfork Eagle | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 9 years, 2 months AGO
A man was sentenced Thursday for his role in an Oct. 26, 2015, burglary spree in the Bigfork area.
William Jared Jones was sentenced by Flathead District Judge Amy Eddy to two five-year deferred sentences to the Montana Department of Corrections. The sentences run concurrently.
Jones pleaded guilty to two felony counts of burglary after he admitted being one of four people who burglarized a home on Egan Slough and a Kalispell automotive repair business.
Jones was not involved with stealing a truck and breaking into the Creston Business Center, though he said his three co-defendants did participate in those crimes. Taylor Shane Hill and Harland Robert Jordan have already been sentenced in the case. Deven Michael Broad is awaiting sentencing.
Prosecutor Andrew Clegg said no restitution was owed in the case.
