Public Notice NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE CLOSEOUT OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FOR ALPINE MEADOWS WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT PROJECT Kootenai County will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday 10 May 2016 at 2:00PM, in the Board of County Commissioners Board Room, 451 N Government Way, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, for the purpose of obtaining a Closeout Report on the Alpine Meadows Water and Sewer District Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Water System Improvement Project, #ICDBG-13-I-10-PF. The project was constructed in two phases. The source and booster capacity (well) was completed in Phase I, which included a second production well and pump capable of producing 160 gallons per minute. The project was declared substantially complete on 21 July 2014. Phase II of the project was the Water System Well and Booster Improvements Project. The project was declared substantially complete on 16 October 2015, however, portions of the project outside of the ICDBG scope are still being completed. Funding consisted of $350,000 in CDBG funds with $62,177 of local funds pledged by Alpine Meadows Water and Sewer District. CDBG funds comprised approximately 20% of the total estimated cost of the project. The purpose of this hearing is to obtain citizen comments and input on this project. Kootenai County assures nondiscrimination in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The meeting facility is accessible for people using wheelchairs.
