2nd Harvest teaming with Trinity Lutheran for food distribution

2nd Harvest of Spokane is teaming again with Thrivent Financial and Trinity Lutheran to bring another season of free food distribution to Boundary County. There will be four trucks. These trucks provide free produce, nutritious perishable products and other groceries for all families in need of food assistance. 2nd Harvest works with growers, distributers and merchants to provide 8,000 pounds of food each delivery.
The first truck will be at the Trinity Lutheran parking lot (6784 Cody Street) on May 12th from 11 am – 1 pm. Other free food distribution in Boundary County will be June 15, 2016; August 11th, 2016 and September 16th, 2016.
The cost of these trucks has gone up a lot this year and sponsors are needed and would be welcome. If you are interested in helping to sponsor these distributions please call 267-7826.
