The best of western Montana came together last Tuesday in Missoula to see how well they could compete against the top ten athletes in all classes. Local athletes competed very well. One of the best performances came from Charlo’s Michael Delaney, who won 100-meter dash with a time of 11.45. Polson’s Jacob Clairmont also had a great day, taking third in the 110 hurdles, third in the long jump, fourth in the 300 hurdles, and fifth in the pole vault. Arlee’s Isaac Desjarlais took sixth in the 400, and the Polson short relay team took seventh.

For the girls, Polson’s Lydia Bowman took second in the pole vault. Teammate Molly Sitter took eighth in the two mile and Mariah Corrigan took ninth in the javelin. Arlee’s Carly Hergett took sixth in the long jump and ninth in the triple jump. Teammate Ashley Revis qualified for the 200 but scratched. She also qualified in the 400, which she placed ninth in. Charlo’s freshman Allie Delaney took eighth in the 200. Ronan’s Lee Camel also competed, taking eighth in the long jump.

There were many other meets, but due to space limitation, only agate results are listed.
