Koinonia Hearts To Hands selects raffle winner
For the Herald | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 8 years, 11 months AGO
The ladies of Koinonia Hearts to Hands have had a busy winter providing food and community aid to people in need in Boundary County. Spring is here and we are once again raising funds to provide help where it is needed.
On April, 12th we drew the name of the winner of our latest raffle basket! Elaine Gaztambide is the lucky winner of this Garden Basket containing some great gardening items, and $95 in gift certificates for local businesses. Thanks to this generous community we were able to raise over $300 from this basket. Thank you to all who bought tickets or donated for this raffle. We want to give special thanks to Mandy’s Gift Gallery, and Mi Pueblo for their generous donations, as well as to Harvest Foods for allowing us to sell tickets in their store. These acts of kindness add up to an enormous amount of help for people who need a helping hand in this world. In the words of Mother Teresa “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.”
