NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Primary Election will be held in Bonner County, Idaho on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at each of the polling places noted below and that on said Primary Election day the polls will be open continuously from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and that each place is handicapped accessible. In addition to the Primary Election, elections will be conducted on behalf of the following taxing districts: Northside Fire District will be placing before the voters a permanent override tax levy proposition. The polling places for said election are as follows: Airport Precinct, Baldy Precinct, Colburn Precinct, Grouse Creek Precinct, Kootenai Precinct, Oden Precinct, and Selle Precinct. West Pend Oreille Fire District will be placing before the voters a proposal of issuing unlimited tax general obligation bonds, and a permanent tax levy override proposal. ISPWC - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT TITLE: Augusta St Sidewalk, Bonners Ferry Separate sealed BIDS for a sidewalk and drainage improvement project located on Augusta Street in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and other related work as set forth in the Contract Documents will be received by the City of Bonners Ferry at 7232 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, until 11:00 a.m.. local time on Friday, May 20, 2016 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The work involves approximately 1600 lineal feet of pavement rehabilitation, sidewalk construction, storm drain construction, and pressure sewer main construction. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. The PROJECT PLANS and SPECIFICATIONS may be examined at the following location: City of Bonners Ferry - 7232 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 Copies of these documents may be purchased for a REFUNDABLE fee of $20.00. In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the Owner will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the Owner to evaluate the Bidder's qualifications. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Bonners Ferry as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Bonners Ferry reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City.
