Five teams from the Libby-Troy United States Bowling Congress youth bowling league ventured to Missoula last month to compete in the state tournament spanning three weekends of play. The Midnight Loggers team won first place in their division, the doubles team of Colton Tubb and Cory Stoltz placed second in among Division 1 teams and Taryn Thompson placed third in Division 5.

“This year we had a lot of young teams attending for the first time and a few veterans to the tournament,” said associate manager Nicci Savage. “The bowlers aged from 7-18, they bowled their hearts out at state.”
