Kathy Riebli is Boundary County School District’s April Classified Employee of the Month. Kathy is a paraprofessional at Mount Hall Elementary.

For the past 13 years, Kathy has worked as a paraprofessional in Janet Gause’s classroom. Mrs. Gause appreciates Kathy’s skills and work ethic. “She does so much for each of her students, making learning fun and providing encouragement. She has a generous heart and looks out for the needs of all Mount Hall students”-Janet Gause. Kathy’s devotion to students goes beyond Mount Hall. Although some might not know this, Kathy started this year by splitting her days part-time at Valley View and part-time at Mount Hall. I’m sure Valley View would agree that Kathy is a tremendous paraprofessional, and she really helps students be successful. What I admire most of Kathy is her dedication and compassion towards students. Kathy is a mother of three boys, and a grandmother of three grandchildren, so her love for children comes naturally.

In Kathy’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. As her principal, I cannot speak enough about Kathy’s impact on Mount Hall. She is always trying to improve the lives of students and staff. She’s willing to work with any student, take on additional duties, and host get-togethers at her house.

Thank you Kathy for all that you do. You make Mount Hall Elementary a great place for students to come learn, play, and grow.
