Local bowling teams take Vegas by storm

82 year old Helen Heritage really rocked in Las Vegas with a 209 game and a nine game total of 1464
The Tuesday’s Trouble sent three teams to Las Vegas. We got a friend from the Troy league and picked up a sub in Las Vegas to fill out the teams.
All games were bowled scratch.
The Team Event standings for our three teams:
Michelle Conrad high game 175, Jeanne Osborn 2nd high game 169 and Helen Heritage and Alice VanGudy tied for third high game 168. High series Lil Jimenez 458, 2nd high series Helen Heritage 451 and 3rd high series Michelle Conrad 446.
Team high game A.J’s Clowns (Alice VanGundy, Donna Kent, Lil Jimenez, Michelle Conrad SUB) 592, 2nd high game A.J.’s Jokers (Danna Lemmert, Carolyn McNeill, Jeanne Osborn, Sherry Pennock) 576 and 3rd high game A.J.’s Aces (Virginia Sanborn, Dolores Sweet, Helen Heritage, Nancy Furtado) 565. High series A.J.’s Clowns 1691, 2nd high series A.J.’s Jokers 1657 and 3rd high series A.J.’s Aces 1539.
During the team events, Carolyn McNeill got the only turkey, doubles were bowled by Carolyn McNeill, Sherry Pennock, Helen Heritage, Nancy McHone and Lil Jimenez. Splits were converted by Dolores Sweet 5-6-10, Helen Heritage 3-10 and Lil Jimenez 3-10 and 3-7-10.
The Doubles standing: High game Virginia Sanborn and Helen Heritage 316, second high game Alice VanGundy and Michelle Conrad 307 and third high game Jeanne Osborn and Sherry Pennock 305.
High series Virginia Sanborn and Helen Heritage 868, 2nd high series Alice VanGundy and Michelle Conrad 852 and 3rd high series Jeanne Osborn and Sherry Pennock 829.
During the doublesMichelle Conrad got a turkey and Alice VanGundy got a double. Splits picked up by Danna Lemmert, 3-10 Sherry Pennock 6-7 and Lil Jimenez 3-4-7-10.
The Singles standings: High game Helen Heritage 209, 2nd high game Alice VanGundy 185 and 3rd high game Carolyn McNeill 163. High series Helen Heritage 540, 2nd high series Alice VanGundy 496 and 3rd high series Sherry Pennock 445.
During the singles Helen Heritage got a turkey, doubles were bowled by Helen Heritage and Carolyn McNeill got 2. Sherry Pennock got the only split 3-10.

Jeanne Osborn got high scratch game 178, high scratch series 466, tied for high handicap game 243, and got second high handicap series 661. Donna Nysrom got second high scratch game 165, second high scratch series 456, tied for high handicap game 243, and got high handicap series 690. Alice Vangundy got third high scratch game 164 and third high scratch series 439. Michelle Sweet got second high handicap game 237 and third high handicap series 642. Helen Heritage got third high handicap game 225.
