Mother's Day Tea held at the Boundary County Community Restorium on May 2

Bonners Ferry American Legion Auxiliary Post 55 hosted its annual Mothers Day Tea at the Restorium May 2, 2016.

Everyone was welcomed by President Jennifer Van Etten. The Guest Speaker was Shirley Brooks, President of Eagles Auxiliary. Shirley shared a Mothers Day tribute to all the moms. Valdie Burkholder presented pot plants as special Mother’s Day awards.

Refreshments were furnished by The American Legion Auxiliary.

The Bonners Ferry High School Choir sang for the ladies.

It is unbelievable that this semester is almost over. One half a year almost completed? Where does the time go? I know where a lot of it went. It went to helping our community, competing, participating in various events and generally being great people and citizens.

BONNERS FERRY — The famous Hospital Auxiliary Pie Sale will be Thursday, Feb. 16, this year, and will be held in the basement of the Trinity Lutheran Church, 6784 Cody Street. You may purchase a whole pie or by the slice. The coffee pot will be on, ready to serve.
