With the serious success of Columbia Basin softball, the area was well-represented on all-league teams.

Columbia Basin Big Nine

Marnie Skinner repeated as league MVP, in a unanimous selection, and Moses Lake had 10 all-league selections.

“I think that’s the most I’ve ever had,” head coach Dave Gregory said.

Nikea Holman, Mikaela Francisco, Brooke Richardson and Brooklyn Bailey joined Skinner on the first team. Skinner put together a remarkable senior season as she finished with a 0.00 earned run average.

Second baseman Tia Radach and utility player Aubrey Rowland made the second team. Kaylee Fowler-Valdez, Sierra Perales and Peyton Ries were honorable mention.

Moses Lake finished 18-0 in the CBBN, won its fourth straight league championship and will try for a fourth straight district championship Saturday, 3 p.m., at Larson Field.

Central Washington Athletic Conference

Othello captured the CWAC league championship and had eight players make all-league. Dominique Martinez was the Player of the Year and Othello was awarded the Coaching Staff of the Year.

Diamond Franco and Lidize DeLeon were second team; Audisey Sauceda and Hadassi Valdez were honorable mention.

Ephrata’s Mikayla Wood was second team and Quincy’s Alexis Ramirez was honorable mention.

Othello is a No. 1 seed in the District 5/6 2A Softball Tournament and received a bye into the semifinals.

Central Washington 2B South

Aaliyah Enriquez was named Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, while Wes Richins was Coach of the Year.

Joining Enriquez on the first team: Allycia Gonzales, Brenna Whitney, Julianna Pruneda, Jizelle Pruneda and Amanda Contreras. Bailey Whitney and Lexy Gonzalez were second team; Ashlyn Yamane was honorable mention.

Warden will try for a second consecutive District 6 2B Softball Tournament championships Saturday, 2:30 p.m., against Kittitas.
